Paste a client brief. Get a quote priced from your own rates.

Briefworth reads the email, chat message, or call notes, lists every deliverable, prices each one from your rate card, and points out what the client didn’t mention. You check it, edit it, and send a branded PDF or link.

Website + logo before we open?

Hi! We’re opening our second shop in March and honestly our website is embarrassing.

We’d love a new logo, something warmer than what we have now, and a proper website, maybe 5 pages with the menu and both locations. Would be amazing if people could order birthday cakes online too.

Oh, and can you do some Instagram posts for the launch? Ideally it’s all live before the opening. Budget’s flexible, just keep it reasonable :)

What the email doesn’t say

Questions to send Maya before you quote:

  1. What date do you open in March? I’ll plan the schedule back from it.
  2. Will you send the menu text and photos, or should I quote for writing and photography too?
  3. How many launch posts did you have in mind? I’ve quoted 9 for now.
Example: a client email and the draft quote Briefworth makes from it. The rates come from a sample rate card; yours would use your own.

How it works

  1. Paste the brief

Copy in the client’s email, a chat thread, or your notes from a call. It can be in any language, and it can be messy.

  2. Check the breakdown

Briefworth lists each deliverable, prices it from your rate card, and flags anything the client didn’t specify, with questions you can send back.

  3. Send the proposal

Edit any line, set what’s included and excluded, and choose how many revision rounds the client gets. Then export a branded PDF or share a link.

Built for the quoting you don’t get paid for

Turning a vague email into a fair quote takes an evening you can’t bill for. Briefworth does the slow parts and leaves every decision to you.

Prices from your rate card, never made up
Set your rates once: per project, per page, per hour, per post. Briefworth matches each deliverable to one of them. If nothing fits, the line stays unpriced until you add a rate.
Follow-up questions, already written Pro
Missing deadlines, vague quantities, who supplies the content: Briefworth spots the gaps and writes polite questions you can paste into your reply.
Scope in writing
Every proposal lists what’s included, what isn’t, and how many revision rounds the client gets, so “one small change” has a clear answer.
Any language, any currency
Paste a brief in Portuguese and quote in euros, or one in English and quote in yen. Each rate card has its own currency.
Branded PDF or a share link PDF on Pro
Add your logo and colors, then export a PDF, or send a link the client can open on their phone. Share links are on every plan.
Nothing goes out until you send it
Every line, price, and sentence is editable. Briefworth drafts the proposal; you decide what the client sees.

Claude reads. Your rate card prices. You decide.

Briefworth is built on Anthropic’s Claude API. Here’s exactly what the AI does, and what it doesn’t.

Claude

Anthropic’s AI model, through the Claude API

  • Reads the brief, in any language
  • Splits it into separate deliverables
  • Matches each one to an item on your rate card
  • Spots missing details and writes follow-up questions
  • Drafts the proposal wording

Briefworth

The app

  • Multiplies quantities by your rates and adds up totals in ordinary code, so the math is exact
  • Leaves a line unpriced when nothing on your rate card fits
  • Applies your currency, branding, and revision limits
  • Creates the PDF and the share link

You

The person sending the quote

  • Review every line and price
  • Edit, add, or delete anything
  • Decide when, and whether, to send it

Questions

Something else? Email hello@briefworth.com and you’ll hear back from a person.

Does the AI set my prices?

No. Prices come only from the rate card you set up. Claude matches each deliverable to an item on your rate card, and Briefworth does the math. If a deliverable doesn’t match anything, it stays unpriced and Briefworth asks you to add a rate.

Which AI does Briefworth use?

Briefworth is built on Anthropic’s Claude models, which we use through the Claude API. If we add other AI providers later, we’ll list them in our Privacy Policy first.

What happens to the briefs I paste?

We send the text to our AI provider to process it, and we store it in your account so you can come back to the proposal. We don’t sell your data or use it to train AI models. If you delete your account, we erase your data within 30 days.

Can I edit the proposal before the client sees it?

Yes. Every line item, price, and sentence is editable, and nothing reaches your client until you export the PDF or share the link yourself.

Does it work in my language and currency?

Yes. Paste a brief in any language Claude can read, and write the proposal in the language you choose. Each rate card has its own currency, so you can quote in euros, pounds, rupees, or anything else.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings in a couple of clicks. You keep your paid plan until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. There are no cancellation fees.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If Briefworth isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we’ll refund it in full. Renewals aren’t refundable, but you can cancel before the next one. The details are in our Refund Policy.
